4 weeks post surgery after pin removal

Notice that 4 days post surgery the swelling is much less than would be expected after an injury of this nature and the associated surgery. Dr Cheesman was very happy with the lack of swelling and the extremely good colour in the tissue with no hint of anything going gangrenous. Fingers are notoriously bad with regards to circulation and this can be a serious problem with an injury such as this. The section that it was thought would probably need plastic surgery can be seen to be very healthy with the wound closing successfully.
